I have lived on Oahu for over 50 years following college graduation with a degree in Engineering. I have maintained my Professional Engineering License in Hawaii since 1976 (PE-4231).
I worked for 30 years at Pearl Harbor Shipyard as an Engineer and became a first line supervisor after 15 years. Much of my spare time was spent working on and around buildings for my self or my church.
I spent the next 15 years working for construction companies that did all types of construction projects for all branches of the Military. My responsibility was as a Quality Control Manager for the Prime Contractors which included insuring installations were installed per plans and codes. I verified correct material was installed and inspected installations for proper construction. I also spent 10 of those years jointly as a Construction Safety Officer.
I am familiar with homes in Hawaii, have considerable experience with building requirements and am trained in recognizing safety hazards.
When I started my own business as a Home inspector, I received Home Inspection certifications from Inspection Certification Associates (ICA19555) and International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNATCHI9031626).
I would love to be a part of helping you find that dependable and safe home of your dreams.
